Happy Spring Time!

hiya guys. Sorry I have been lacking in the blogging world I just have not been crafting enough and doing anything interesting recently but hopefully I will be back into my crafting soon. I have have been busy doing a variety of crafts however for The Octopode Factory. Here is something I did recently

Valentine Girl

Valentines Day is not far away now and Lily, the designer of the Octopode factory has a new digi out just for Valentines Day and she is so adorable. 

When I first saw the new stamp she reminded me of a young 50s girl particularly with the heart shaped sunglasses. The card was pretty simple to make the floral set of paper was from the Portobello Rd range which I absolutely love the pad and haven't had a chance to use. The small hearts I did was with some card I experimented on with some of my new distress stains. 

For Freya,  I coloured her in Promarkers (which I need to get some more colours) and finished her off with a bit of glitter to the glasses lens and earrings and a little round orange gem on the belt. The quote is from a Beetles song

Octopode Friday Challenge

I've never entered challenges before but I thought I would give this one a go as I love octopode stuff. I'm going to enter the Valentines Card I did for my Boyfriend. He hates the cheesy hearts so thought I would have a go with mad hatter from alice in wonderland.
