I'm sorry

I feel so bad for the lack of blogging this week I have just been so busy get 2 projects done ready for a crit next week on the work and the photographs. But I will try and do a brief summary of some of the days that have been really fun.

Wednesday there was a royal visit to my university Hereford College of arts and I got gladly asked to work in the studio. The visit was from the Duke and Duchess of Gloucestershire. I only met the Duchess but she seemed really nice and because I was with 3 other photography students we managed to get a portrait shot of the Duchess. Sadly she blinked but the lighting was perfect etc much to Georges dismay. While she was having her photograph taken me and my friend Luke ended up speaking to two of her friends. And Luke got asked about why they chose the model they did to photograph (being me. I got refer ed to model a lot). Well Luke just said because I was photogenic and had unusual hair then the guy asked whether it was my real hair or not and that you can't tell now a days. Overall the day was awesome even though an hour went by very quickly during the visit.

After the visit, George decided to photograph me for his high key low key work within the studio which hopefully I will get a few pictures off him to show you on here as I was wearing my new Maxi dress which I love. But I will save that for another blog post.

On Thursday there was a pub crawl that was organised and it has been such a long time since I've been out with some of my friends (4 months to be exact since my purse got stolen on Halloween) But I really had a fun time having a variety of brightly colour drinks and just hanging out with my friends.

However, even though there was a pub crawl on the Friday my photography course had to go all the way to derby to see the photofest that was happening. Plus I got to go see my mum as well which was nice. As we exchanged stuff well here mothers day present and 2 magazines I need for me. But it was awesome to catch up with my mum again and I can't wait to go back home for the Easter holidays which is in 2 weeks time. I don't have many pictures from Derby but here is just a couple of sunset pictures from the coach journey home.

Hope everyones having a really good weekend. And I will be back to usual daily blogging soon. I will also hopefully be getting back onto more digiscrapbooking but as I mentioned earlier I have just been so busy.
